John Paine is a Sydney based illustrator, animator and potato chip enthusiast with 15 years experience in making content people care about. 25 million organic views on his personal content can't be wrong.

Raised on 90s cartoons, John taught himself to animate before he had a computer. Since then, he’s moved from pieces of paper and the family camcorder to projects aired on Adult Swim, the ABC and in the Art Gallery of NSW.

He likes to experiment with mediums, extending his skills to apparel, books, Twitch emotes, Tiki mugs and live events including a collaborative animation with 9000 (novice) artists. His next project? Bringing his characters into the 3rd dimension through a line of 3D printed toys.

John thrives off collaboration and is a strong believer that the way the audience interprets and remixes his work makes it better. He’s always looking for the next project and is happy to chat about ideas big and small.
